Customer Growth:   Zions Bank, Red Hanger, Nevada State Bank

Finding new customers isn't the only way to grow your business. Although most businesses focus on bringing in new customers, it's important to give special attention to the customers you already have.

In addition to a wide range of techniques for finding new customers, RESPONSE has designed custom loyalty, bonding and affinity programs that can grow the profitability and size of your customer base. Not to mention statistical modeling that help reduce attrition, cross-sell and find new customers that resemble your best customers.

Zions Bank:

You may think that a bank with more than a half million customers wouldn't think twice about losing one or two, but that isn't Zions Bank. Zions Bank was looking for a way to keep customers happy or, at least, to find out what made them unhappy and to prevent it from happening again.

So when Zions Bank wanted to reduce attrition and increase customer loyalty, they turned to RESPONSE.

Bonding Campaign

Challenge: Increase customer loyalty and encourage current customers to use additional Zions Bank products.

Method: Bonding letters, which increase customer affinity and cross sell other bank products. In this example, the bonding letter invited customers who were worried about online security to contact Lee Carter, the bank's President of Online Services, for free advice on how to protect themselves.

Results: Tremendous positive feedback from customers and internally from members of the Zions Bank team.

Warm and Fuzzy

Challenge: Reduce customer attrition.

Method: A "warm and fuzzy" letter designed for customers who display a high attrition risk by either withdrawing a large sum or closing accounts. That way Zions Bank can find out if the customer has had a bad experience, improve overall customer service and potentially save a customer relationship.

Results: The warm and fuzzy letter successfully saved many customer relationships, and lots of positive feedback from already happy Zions Bank customers.
