Westminster College

Westminster College, a small, private college tucked away on Salt Lake City’s east side, wanted new MBA students. But it wouldn’t accept just anyone. The highly respected, high-tech school needed a special breed of student. Especially since, as a private school, tuition is higher than at the competing state-funded universities

So when Westminster College wanted to find enthusiastic and diligent students, they chose RESPONSE.

 

 

 
 
MBA package

Challenge: Recruit qualified students for the Westminster College Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and Executive MBA programs.

Method: A four-page letter package about Westminster‘s academic excellence, unique campus and outstanding reputation mailed to select Westminster Alumni and local residents; an application fee waiver and a gift card offer to motivate potential applicants to act now.

Results: After three mailings, the Westminster MBA program has heard from 62 qualified applicants and enrolled 34. At the current rate of tuition, the revenue from those enrollees is equivalent to a Return on Advertising Investment of 2,874%.
